Prescriptions

thepillPatients for whom repeat prescriptions have been approved by their doctor will receive a repeat prescription order form (RPO form).

You can use this form as a guide when using the on-line repeat prescription service or you can re-order your repeat medication by ticking the items required and circling the collection point of choice on your RPO and handing in or posting it to the Health Centre.  If you use the on-line service please remember to enter the point of collection in the additional information box before submitting your request.

Our local pharmacies offer an excellent collection service.   All you need to do is remember to let us know your preferred point of collection.  You can collect your medication from your pharmacy 48 hours after the request is received in the practice.   Please allow extra time if your order is likely to have been received in practice over the weekend.

Prescriptions for items not on a Repeat Prescription Order form such as contraceptive pills and antidepressants cannot be provided outwith a consultation with a GP.

Please note that it is Practice Policy not to accept orders for repeat prescriptions over the telephone because of the risk of errors.
